Upgraded V-Ray Frame Buffer – An improved V-Ray Frame Buffer includes a 360-degree panorama viewer, a flip composition button, helpful composition guides and the option to share renders via Chaos Cloud.Clients, team members and other stakeholders can now easily review, mark up and comment at any time, streamlining the process for everyone involved in the project. V-Ray 6 for 3ds Max also incorporates a free Chaos Cloud Collaboration service that shares images from V-Ray to Chaos Cloud. VRayEnmesh efficiently generates huge amounts of geometry at render time without bogging down scene performance. Because the surfaces are created with full-3D geometry, the tool is ideal for making intricate panels, fences and fabrics that can be viewed at close range. VRayEnmesh is a new tool that tiles patterns of 3D geometry across objects to create complex surfaces at the highest level of detail. Procedural clouds can also be animated to create dynamic timelapse skies and streaming streaks of sunlight. When these clouds are raytraced with V-Ray, they respond accurately to lights, shadows and volumetric effects, rendering them as realistic as possible. They can easily simulate a variety of cloud types and weather conditions, from partly cloudy to overcast. New procedural clouds, built on technology from Enscape, have been added to the V-Ray Sun and Sky system, allowing artists to create custom skies.
